ABIGOR: 'On Ice'!
March 31, 2003Austrian black metal outfit ABIGOR have been put "on ice" indefinitely in the wake of the group's apparent disagreements with their record label, Napalm Records. "Because of some serious problems with Napalm Records concerning the studio, and the budget of the upcoming album, I decided to lay ABIGOR on ice!" mainman Peter Kubik wrote on the band's official web site. "Napalm don't accept the studio we'd like to record at, Martin (HOLLENTHON/PUNGENT STENCH) as alternative producer/studio lacks the time for our recording session, and so on, just to sum it up — currently it is simply not possible to record a new album, not with this differences, not with this compromises, and conditions Napalm offers us! Anyways, I'll continue the work on material but there'll be some changes in ABIGOR, as well a huge delay for 'The Dead White Moonlight Songs', be patient, we'll strike back sooner or later, but currently we must find some solutions, and a way out of that dilemma, we'll keep you updated..."
